In nature as in life, heroes exist in unexpected
places. In this talk, we describe three strange but
wonderful little heroes that exist all around us.
As we’ll see, within each of your cells and under
leaves in the park, tiny dump trucks are keeping us
alive, crafty bacteria are generating electricity
when they breathe, and peculiar little animals
are battling the elements by playing dead. Join
us to learn how these odd survivor stories can
teach us about human health and industry.
