Talk Description:

“Once I was a single cell with infinite potentials! Within several days, I embarked on a journey that shaped my arms, my legs, my heart, and my brain. After my birth, my memories were built by my experiences and after many wonderful years they are fading away.” Ever wondered how the human life begins? How does the information stored in our DNA shape us and how does aging affect human biology? Join us for this month’s Science in the News talk where three Yale scientists talk about the flow of genetic information during conception and the determination of body plan, and how aging predisposes many of us to brain disorders.
