On November 10th, YSC hosted Dr. Rob Swanda to give a Getting Started in SciComm workshop on modern-day science communication. He covered what we can all do to participate in and deliver accessible & understandable SciComm in the future. The workshop focused on getting started in this space, challenges to overcome in delivering complex information, and methods to help make research understandable to anyone. Thank you to Dr. Rob Swanda for his time and to the Graduate and Professional Student Senate (GPSS) for funding this event!
