Event time:

Location:
Brooklyn Public Library See map Brooklyn, NY
Event description:

Have you appreciated your RNA lately? This tiny molecule is busy sending messages inside each of your cells, but that’s not all! Join us for this month’s Science in the News talk to hear Yale graduate students Matthew Steinsaltz, Brahmmi Patel, and Mikey Grunst discuss a few of the many ways RNA is more than just a messenger. You’ll learn how RNA is being used in exciting new technologies for gene editing; how RNA contributes to some dangerous diseases; and how RNA viruses and vaccines have changed history.

Please register on the library website to receive Zoom info. We hope to see you there!
